I was recently in Baku, Azerbaijan creating sculptures for an upcycle exhibition called Waste To Art.

These flowers were created as a collaborative effort between Caris Bailey and myself. I really love this work.

Process:

1. Coat a piece of wire (the stem) in hot glue. Garnish with toothpicks for thorns
2. Spray paint the stem with chrome paint
3. Cut petal shapes out of CDs with a pair of kitchen scissors
4. Warp and hand shape petals with a heat gun
5. Glue petals to the chrome stem
