In Sean's previous artistic career, he made sculptures from recycled materials like CDs and computer hard drives. He no longer makes these sculptures and does not take commissions for them.

CD SHARD TECHNIQUE
Sean used kitchen scissors to cut the shapes he needed out of the CDs; then arranged each shard by colour and size. He hot glued those shards one by one to a wire mesh frame that he shaped by hand to create a natural fur/feather pattern. His sculptures took between a week and a month to make.
